Chinese steel exports keep declining due to global trade barrier-The 20th China (Guangzhou ) Int’l Casting product Exhibition

According to the statistics from customs, Chinese steel exports rebounded to 5.6 million tons in December last year from the 9-month low, which rose by 4.5% compared to the previous month but decreased by 2.0% from the same month a year ago. In the entire 2018, the exports of steel in China amounted to 69.3 million tons roughly, a year-on-year decline of 8.1%.
The exports of Chinese steel kept dropping due to certain global trade barriers such as the growing prices of Chinese steel, trade conflicts with the US, the trading competition of steel products from India, Russia and Turkey.
