According to the report, Indian steel output was expected to meet 300 million tons as a goal by 2030.
India had transcend Japan as second largest steel producing country in the world with production amount at about 100 million tons yearly. Furthermore, its Indian transition period was now from developing country growing to developed country.
During the time, India would require more investment and infrastructure. It could be expected that steel demand would keep increasing along with active construction project, growing simultaneously with the country’s steel production.
