US decides to impose AD duties on steel wheels from China-The 20th China (Guangzhou ) Int’l Casting product Exhibition

According to report, the US Department of Commerce (USDOC) finally determined that the exporters of steel truck wheels from China have been seen dumping in the US at margin of 231.7%.
The collection of cash from the importers of certain Chinese steel wheels would be based on the preliminary rate. Also, it will add the countervailing duties ranging from 48.75~172.51% which were earlier announced in August.
The requests were asked by Accuride Corp. of Evansville, Ind., and Maxion Wheels Akron L.L.C. of Akron in April this year. The Department investigated into products such as on-the-road steel wheels, discs and rims for tubeless tires with rim sizes of 22.5 and 24.5 inches, etc.
US imported of targeted steel wheels from China worthy around US$388 million in 2017.
