Aichelin received an order from Swedish fastener manufacturer Bulten for the production of a cast link-belt furnace for the refinement of high-strength steel screws and nuts. The furnace, at 262.5 feet (80 meters) long, has a capacity of 2 tons per hour and is scheduled to be shipped by December 2018. The order includes an electrically heated high-temperature hardening furnace and a protective-gas-tight tempering furnace with oil or emulsion hardening baths.
Aichelin will also provide measuring and switching systems, as well as a process control system and a protective gas generator.
