Recently, the Indian Ministry of Steel said that its domestic crude steel production will reach 170 million tons in 2018~2019, India will achieve its 300 million tons of steel production target of more than 50%.
India''s steel sector urges the steel industry to take full advantages of its domestic resources due to India''s current surplus of electricity and India''s domestic iron ore can be used for over 30 years.
According to India''s steel strategic goal, India will to achieve 300 million tons of steel production targets in 2030~2031, and the steel consumption will also increase from the current 61 kg to 158 kg for 2030.
