Camellia Metal Co., Ltd., a polished rod and wire producer in Taiwan, posted its revenue of NT$97.68 million in May, dropping by 25.77% compared to the previous month and also down by 50.66% from the same month a year ago, hitting a new low since last year.
In the first five months of this year, Camellia Metal’s cumulative revenue totaled around NT$643.2 million, a significant year-on-year decrease of 30.22%.
Besides, the firm had a net loss of NT$45.06 million in the first quarter, with a loss of NT$0.65 per share.
Camellia Metal’s performance was seriously impacted by the COVID-19 epidemic mainly, which reduced demand and affected steel prices.
