On April 21st, the United States International Trade Commission (USITC) decided to conduct antidumping investigations on imports of silicon metals from Australia, Brazil, Kazakhstan and Norway.
There are five members of the Commission voted in favor that silicon metals imports from above four countries were sold at lower than fair prices in the United States, which caused material injury to the domestic industry.
The product customs codes were involved 2804.69.1000 and 2804.69.5000.
