Taiwanese China Steel
Corp. (CSC) has announced its Q2 financial report.
The company''s sales
profit after tax in was NT$5.153 billion, up by 42% Q-O-Q and 5.5% Y-O-Y,
reaching a new high in recent two years.
CSC''s total sales profit in
this H1 was NT$8.781 billion. CSC''s manager said two of the company''s blast
furnaces have restarted operation. Besides, the dropping iron ore and coal
prices in this Q2 helped CSC reduce its raw material costs.
At the same
time, CSC''s Q2 shipments increased to 3.07 million tons and its average selling
price in this Q2 increased by 0.37%.
