Vietnam Formosa Ha Tinh Steel Corporation (FHS), one of the largest steelmakers in Vietnam, announced to decrease its hot rolled coil price by US$20/ton and wire rod price by US$16/ton for December.
The main reason for price down was because of the US-China trade war and India/Russia shifted their export volume to Vietnam. As a result, the demand also remained weak in Asia market.
Affected by above factors, FHS decided to lower its hot-rolled coil and wire rod price for December.
