Taiwan's Quintain Steel to raise wire rod prices for Jan- The 19th China (Guangzhou) Int’l Plate metal, Bar, wire, Metal Processing &Setting Equipment Exhibition

Quintain Steel Co., LTD, one of the major wire rod producers in Taiwan, announced on January 29th to hike its list prices for wire rods by NT$1,000/ton for February.
After the price announcement, its prices for electric furnace Al-killed wire rods and blast furnace (BF) killed wire rods, galvanized wire and thread rod would be raised by NT$500/ton.
Quintain Steel said that the international raw materials prices continued upward trend which remained at high level and it updated its facility for environmental protection; therefore, the company decided to increase the price for February.
Quintain Steel has already increased NT$2,000/ton in the past three months.
