During summer season, the European demand for hot-rolled coil in the local market to remain subdued. According to market sources, the past week, because of weak market demand, in order to compete with the imports steel plate offers, the local steel producers to drop hot-rolled coil prices are at US$437~471/ton, ex-factory prices, reduced �10/ton (about US$11/ton) month on month.
