Italy’s steel plate prices remain at a low level-THE 18th GUANGZHOU INTERNATIONAL PLATEMETA EXHIBITION

Since the beginning of June, the European plate market is suffering a price correction, due to prices dropped after prices surged in Apr-May this year. According to the message, the steel plate prices from non-European has lost competition. Currently, the steel plate prices close to the bottom, so the market participants are expected the market demand will have a chance to rebound.
Currently, European hot-rolled coil prices are at �380~38/tons (about US$418~424/tons); cold-rolled coil prices are at �490~500/tons (about US$539~550/tons); hot dipped galvanized prices are at �480/tons (about US$528/tons), ex-factory price.
