UK-based bolt tensioning specialist TensionPro has launched a new range ofspring return hydraulic tensioners, optimised for topside applications in theoffshore oil and gas industry.
Versatile and reliable for all bolting applications, and designed to suit ANSI, ASME and APIflanges, the HTR series features a fast spring piston return, making these tools the idealchoice for tightening several bolts in multiple pass operations.
Powerful internal springs reset the tensioner piston, so it is always ready for the nextoperation-thus reducing operator fatigue and increasing the speed of tensioning. The toolsinclude important safety features such as a maximum stroke indicator and an internal reliefvalve to prevent accidental piston overstroke. This eliminates unnecessary downtime spentreplacing a seal.
The CE marked range operates at 1,500 bar and comes with a pressure test certificate, as wellas detailed operating, maintenance and safety manuals. in addition, all HTR tensioners areavailable from stock and can be configured with single or twin ports-accompanied bystandard pumps, hoses and fittings.
