NDRC: China steel capacity swapping rules more stringent-The 20th China (Guangzhou)Int’l Fastener & Equipment Exhibition

National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC) of China announced that Chinese government has planned to further tighten the steel capacity swapping rules.
To implement the policy, Chinese government decided to reduce the steel capacity and control the steel-making capacity in key pollution-control areas.
Also, to integrate the resources and avoid the new capacity, Chinese government would encourage mergers happen in the steel sector before 2020, with a goal to fight against zombie companies.
