Vietnamese screw offers to impact Taiwanese screw competitiveness--The 20th China (Guangzhou)Int’l Fastener & Equipment Exhibition

It was reported that after Vietnamese Formosa Ha Tinh Steel started operation in the recent years, the development of domestic screw industry began to be promoted. Some market participants considered that the situation would impact the export competitiveness in Taiwanese screw industry, because Vietnamese screws quotation was lower than the international market, which has threatened Taiwanese screw industry.
It was said that Vietnam was benefited from the China-United States trade war, and many enterprises decided to move their production line to Vietnam because Vietnamese market had low production costs and benefits of free trade between countries. Recently, the local screw industry is flourishing.
