WSA: Indian crude steel production rises by 8% in Jul-The 20th China (Guangzhou)Int’l Fastener & Equipment Exhibition

According to the data from the World Steel Association (WSA), Indian steel production rose by 8% year-on year to 9 million tons in July from 8.3 million tons in the same period last year.
Data from the WSA also released that global steel output was around 155 million tons in July, also rising by 5.8% from the same period last year.
China produced around 81 million tons of crude steel in July, rose by 7.2% year-on-year from 76 million tons in the same month a year ago.
Japanese crude steel output dropped by 2% year-on-year to 8.4 million tons in July.
US’ crude steel production was 7.3 million tons in July, rising by 4.5% year-on-year. South Korean crude steel only rose a little to 6.2 million tons in July.
