According to the statistics from the Turkish Statistics Institution, Turkey imported 42,453 tons of stainless steel sheet in June, up by 0.88% on last June while down by 14.33% on May.
The export values of Turkish stainless steel sheet in June totaled US$94.36 million, down by 2.45% and 12.83% on last June and this May respectively.
In June, Turkey’s imports of stainless steel sheet totaled 12,280 tons, 7,067 tons, 5,259 tons, 5,141 tons from South Korea, China, Taiwan and Italy respectively.
From January to June, the country’s imports of stainless steel sheet totaled 255,964 tons, up by 13.18% on last year.
From January to June, Turkey imports of stainless steel sheet were 69,480 tons, 46,338 tons, 36,645 tons and 29,349 tons from South Korea, China, Italy and Taiwan respectively.
