According to India stainless steel Development Association estimated that India will increase stainless steel production to 5.2 million tons in 2020, an increase of 67.7% compared to 3.1 million tons in 2015.
It is predicted that 2016 India’s stainless steel production will reach 3.6 million tons; 2017 to reach 4 million tons; 2018 to reach 4.3 million tons; 2019 to reach 4.7 million tons
